Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Macroful app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Macroful.

Macroful helps you track meals, calories, and macronutrients, including AI-assisted estimates from photos, labels, and barcodes.

Macroful is not a medical service. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and its calorie/macro values and goals are informational estimates only. Always consult a qualified health professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Macroful.

Some features require a paid Macroful Premium subscription. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store subscription settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Prices are shown before purchase; already-paid periods are generally non-refundable, and refunds are handled by Apple under their policies. You can restore previous purchases via "Restore purchases" on the paywall.

Nutrition values estimated by AI (from photos, labels, or text) are approximations and may be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting logged values. Do not rely on AI estimates where accuracy is critical (for example insulin dosing or medically prescribed diets).

You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to break, overload, or reverse engineer it, accessing other users' data, using it for unlawful purposes, or reselling access to its features or AI capabilities.

You keep all rights to the content you add (photos, recipes, notes). You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process that content in order to run the app for you — for example sending a food photo to an AI provider to estimate its macros.

The Macroful app, its design, branding, and software are our property or licensed to us and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond normal personal use of the app.

You can stop using Macroful and delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as limitations of liability) remain in effect after termination.

Macroful is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the app's estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health).

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version in the app and adjust the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using Macroful after changes take effect, that constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
